I’m all about creating amazing experiences
Amazed when I look back at this journey as a local Tourist Guide 25 years ago. Right away you will have worked out that it all started after the conflict of Northern Ireland ceased and the Northern Ireland Peace Process was agreed in 1999.
Living in the border regions of Northern Ireland I took up the opportunity to train under Board Failte as a Local Guide for my home county of Armagh. Excited that visitors would once again come to our beautiful part of the Island of Ireland.
Armagh Guided Tours was born 199 and just 2 years after following further qualifying as a Blue Badge Guide for Northern Ireland – Guided Tours Ireland was born!
Sharing my homeland and life with visiting individuals and groups has always been my focus and while I have wandered deeper into the Island and over to Scotland my feet keep bringing me back to the place of my birth. A place which has evolved so much over this past 25 years and a story I am proud to share.
Today at Guided Tours Ireland I work towards planning and providing that individual bespoke personal tour to visitors. Working personally with you creates a friendship which just continues through your tour with me.
Working together we plan short day tours, weekend or even week long tours for you. Great way to spend the winter!
Born and bred in rural Northern Ireland my life has always been linked to farming and today I live with my husband on a small mixed farm here in the hills of County Armagh.
Whilst sharing the landscape, history and stories of my homeland is top of the list local hospitality is very important to us all on this Island.
