Discover Armagh – Saint Patrick’s chosen city
Step out into the rolling hills of County Armagh and discover the City which St Patrick chose as the Centre for the Christian church in Ireland. Today two fine cathedrals, both called St Patricks decorate two of the hilltops in this ancient City.
Enjoy a countryside shaped by the Ulster Plantation, small rural villages with historical ruins of castles, manor houses and stately homes. Proud of its Armagh Bramley apple the orchards play a big part in farming in the area today.
South of the City of Armagh stand the rough rugged hills with landscape sheltering ancient burial cairns and standing stones. The people of rural Northern Ireland have a very warm, shy and charming welcome for all visitors to their homeland.

A RECENT REVIEW OF THIS TOUR
“We had an incredible tour with Barbara thorough the Armagh region. She was very professional, knowledgable and engaging. She did an excellent job of personalizing our tour based on our preferences and sprinkled some good humor with local history and knowledge. She was a pleasure to spend the day with and we appreciate the interest that she took in our local connection. Highly recommend!”
